I am very interested in all that you do and all your statistics. I very much doubt that any company in the world has such a great product as you have and for such a fair price. I just finished up listening to yesterday's podcast. Call me crazy, but six weeks ago I bought Fannie Mae at $0.58, about the time they started talking about the stimulus they were going to do for home buyers. When the stock started dropping, I put a limit order on and said to sell it when it gained 10%, or hit $0.64. I got worried when the stock dropped all the way down to $0.36 a couple of weeks ago, but was encouraged when Rich (Suttmeier, Chief Market Strategist ValuEngine.com) came on and predicted a bear rally for the next few months but still a multi-year bear market. Sure enough, the last few days FNM shot up like a rocket, and I was considering resetting my sell price to $0.75 or $0.80. But the interview with Rich (Suttmeier, Chief Market Strategist ValuEngine.com) in yesterday's podcast, to just take the money off the table when you can made me leave the trade alone...... my trade executed at $0.64 and I made a nice 10% on my money over the last six weeks or so.

I have been 120% long and 80% short (of my equity) since march 2008 and so far my equity is down only about 6% (even though I missed a 10% rally of S&P 500 in little over a day in november while I was rebalancing) but S&P 500 down 40%.

Thanks for your hard work. I appreciate your reports, and have been impressed by your "way ahead" of the pack calls. I'm wondering what you think about the direction of the market. It seems like the 1250 ish level for the S&P is a major support level. It hit it twice this year, and hit it once in '06. The bounce in '06 showed a lot of conviction, but I'm not so sure here.

Yes, ValuEngine has been good to me. I have been using it in various ways since 2001 after the crash. In 2002 I had a 58% return. I was using the long and market neutral screeners. In 04 I had an 8% return. In 05 I started investing in stocks from the newsletter and I had an 30% return. And through November 06 I have a 13% return. I would have had a better return in 06, but I lost some money on short sales.

I like ValuEngine and I have done well using their information. I heard about you on the radio about 18 months ago and at first I thought I was too good to be true. I created a test portfolio using about 40 of the 5 engine stocks and watched it for several months. I realized that the information and ratings are useful and correct. I have had a 30% gain in my portfolio since July 2006.

I have not used ValuEngine very much in the years I've had it, because in the little time I have, to spend on investments I have tried to determine how best to get started with the product. I have run two or three paper portfolios using 5-Engine stocks. I was particularly pleased with the outcome of one of them. Anyway, I'm wanting to get more familiar with the product and what it can offer. That's what brought up the questions I've sent you.

I have made a couple of purchases, based on your recommendations, and they are doing nicely. I have most of my money, not that there is a lot of it, in Index funds, and like to play get rich quick with your information.

I was very impressed from the start with Eric Stokes' stock picks in his monthly portfolio issued through the ValuEngine Newsletter. I followed his picks on paper for several months to confirm how strong his recommendations would remain before I put real money to work based on them. I discovered that, even through stagnant or turbulent market conditions, his portfolios held up extremely well, with only one draw-down month out of the eight. I started investing for real on September 15th, 2005, based on Mr. Stokes picks (also using ValuEngine's Optimizing feature) and was up 5%+ by October 3rd (2 and 1/2 weeks). I cashed out when the October market correction began a couple of days later and re-entered the market with Mr. Stokes recommendations on November 15th. There again I was up for the month a little over 6%. His portfolios have continued to perform impressively. A few of Mr. Stokes outstanding picks for me have been FTO (Frontier Oil), PCU (Southern Copper), SPIL (Silicon Precisionware), TXU (TXU Corp.) and USG (U.S. Gypsum).

Overall, I'm very impressed with Mr. Stokes' 40%+ gain in 8 months in a very tricky market environment.

I have been a Valuengine fan since the days of free membership (maybe around 2000?) and although my needs barely make it worth the annual membership fee... in the past I have been made to look good when I advise selling a stock that, as time goes on, does soon go down in price! I have not tracked how successful buy decisions have done over time, but still hope to be in the situation to invest more someday.

I find VE's analysis quite comprehensive and credible, as objective and clear as any I've seen. Above all, so far, it has proven itself quite reliable since I began paper-trading, based on VE's analyses, on June 15th of this year. My paper-traded returns since then have been quite good... exceptional, I would say, in some cases. (I started putting real money to work yesterday based on VE's current analyses.)

I have been a VE subscriber since 2002 and use it regularly. I trade monthly using the VE Standard 20 model and FolioFN. I'd like to use the Market Neutral Strategy, but within a Roth IRA this is not feasible until a fund comes out with this approach.

I'm a big proponent of "mechanical investing" and it has served me well. I hope VE continues to grow and prosper so that I can use its models for a long time.

I am still test driving the software and formulating a methodology of stock selection that I am comfortable with. So far I like what I see. The screening tool is somewhat mysterious however; for example, the stocks that show up in one screen and which should show up in a broader second screen fail to do so and I do not understand that. Now that you have brought up this dialogue approach (I think its an excellent idea), I shall start documenting my findings and shall send them to you periodically.

The newsletter feature should be beneficial as well. I look forward to learning, profiting and interacting.
